Sorry to hear the soup lacked the fresh flavor with the beautiful ingredients you used. It sounds like it would be good though!

I made the magical leek soup from her book but put potatoes and a bit of chicken stock on it. It was still pretty bland, but it wasn't that bad. I think I could have eaten that for two days... if I had the discipline.

I made Mimosa Soup but added lime and a pinch of salt. The parsley and chopped ege really made it!
