Dan Akroyd has been instrumental in creating a fabulous product and marketing campaign for Crystal Head Vodka. Don't miss his cosmic video to explain the paranormal significance of crystal skulls and their mythology, and the vodka he has produced to honor these "spirits". The Bruni Glass company in Italy fashioned skull shaped, clear glass bottles in which to package the quality vodka that has been distilled four times, including a run through quartz "diamonds".
Akroyd is not new to the world of spirits. He also creates wine made with 100 percent "snob free grapes." Sounds like my kind of juice.
I've purchased maybe two bottles of distilled spirits in my life, but I'm a sucker for a gorgeous and cleverly designed package, so I'll be tracking down a crystal skull of my own. These were scheduled for release on Oct. 31st and if the buzz on the internets is any indication, it will be a huge success.
PS: I know I said I'd be posting once a day until Halloween, but I'm afraid I was over-ambitious. However I think this post could qualify as being in the Halloween spirit, even if it comes post-holiday. My job and life keep interfering with my blog hobby! Bother.
Wow, what a cool bottle! And after you're done with the vodka you can use it as a vase. Uh huh. A vase on Halloween.

Love it! (Don't you hate it when actual work gets in the way of blogging like that!)
