As a true Scot, born in Scotland, I appreciate how much you enjoy shortbread.
However, shortbread is never referred to as a "cookie". I mention this only for educational purposes. There are shortbread "cookies", but usually American. Traditional shortbread is made in rounds or rectangles and then cut into serving pieces. Thanks for such a great tribute to one of our national treasures.
Check out the spot on Channel 40 where Peg makes shortbread, a good video. We love the idea of you entering the contest and we look forward to you enjoying our games. Good luck in the contest!

Oh dear. Now I have a dilemma... I suppose I shall have to edit the article. Can't have Great Grandmother McPartland looking askance at me from the other side of the ether. :)

Thanks for the comment Mary.
